We Can Help You Get A Proxy Marriage

S&B Professional Services, Inc. specializes in setting up Legal Proxy Marriages. We arrange single proxy marriages where a designated proxy stands in for the person who cannot attend the ceremony, and double proxy marriages where neither bride or groom is present at the ceremony.

S&B offers two legal options to obtain a marriage certificate by proxy:

  • Single Proxy Marriage
    A single proxy marriage is available in Colorado for people not serving in the US Military and foreign citizens. One of the parties must travel and appear before the civil authorities in Colorado. There are no residency requirements.
  • Double Proxy Marriage
    A double proxy marriage in Montana for all US and foreign citizens. This is possible when at least one of the parties is actively serving in the Military. You do not have to travel to Montana, nor residency is required.

Double Proxy Marriage

Montana is the onlly state that offers legal marriages where neither member of the couple is required to travel to the state to appear before civil authorities. In a double proxy marriage, we provide two designated proxies who will stand in for the bride and groom.

Double proxy marriages are available only to active duty service men or women in the US military and their fiancés.

Single Proxy Marriage

Sinlge proxy marriages are available to all US residents and their fiancés whether or not they are serving in the US military or living in Colorado.

To obtain a legal civil marriage certificate from the state of Colorado, only one of the married couple has to appear before the civil authorities in Colorado. The absent partner can be represented by a designated proxy. You can find more information in our Colorado section.

Please be advised...

There are websites that advertise quick proxy marriages via Mexico and other foreign countries. These foreign marriages may not be recognized by certain states, some US government agencies, and the Military. It is advisable that you first contact the Legal Assistance Department of JAG, and the office of the Attorney General in the state where you reside before you proceed with a foreign proxy marriage.

S&B Inc. cannot process marriages for incarcerated citizens.
